Getting started
Welcome to Verse. This guide walks you through the first five minutes — from creating an account to running a service from your laptop.
1. Create an account
Head to /sign-up and create an organization account. You'll receive a verification email; click the link to activate your sign-in. If you already have an account, skip to step 3.
2. Choose a plan
Visit /pricing and select the tier that fits your team. Each tier sets the number of seats (devices) you can activate concurrently.
The Free tier is enough for single-device evaluation; Plus and Church unlock multi-seat installations and premium Bible translations.
3. Download Verse
Sign in and head to Portal → Downloads to grab the installer for your platform. Verse runs on
macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows 10+ (x64), and Linux (x86_64 — .deb for Debian/Ubuntu,
AppImage elsewhere).
Installers aren't available yet — they're on the way. Once a release is published, the Downloads page will list installers for every supported platform.
4. Activate the desktop app
After installing, open Verse and paste your license key — you'll find it under Portal → Licenses. The desktop app exchanges the key for a 90-day activation token and keeps a 30-day heartbeat window for offline use.
5. Run your first service
In the desktop app, click New Service, drop in scripture references and song lyrics, and use the live presentation pane to project to your second screen. Each service plan auto-saves; nothing leaves your machine unless you sync it explicitly.
