Verse runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux. We’re onboarding partner churches one at a time while we harden the installer pipeline — request access for your platform and we’ll get you a signed build.
System requirements
- macOS 12 Monterey or newer
- Apple Silicon (M1+) or 64-bit Intel
- 4 GB RAM minimum, 8 GB recommended
- 2 GB free disk for app + Bible content
Install steps
- Download the signed .dmg from your portal.
- Open it and drag Verse into Applications.
- Launch Verse and grant Screen Recording permission for projector output.

Install steps
- Download the signed installer (.exe) from your portal.
- Run it — SmartScreen may prompt on first install; choose “More info → Run anyway”.
- Launch Verse from the Start menu and activate with your license key.

- Modern x86_64 distribution (kernel 5.10+)
- glibc 2.31 or newer
- X11 or Wayland with multi-monitor support
- 2 GB free disk for app + Bible content
Install steps
- Debian/Ubuntu (recommended): download the .deb and run sudo apt install ./Verse-*.deb.
- Other distros: download the AppImage, chmod +x Verse-*.AppImage, and run it. On Ubuntu 24.04 the AppImage also needs sudo apt install libfuse2t64.
- Launch Verse from your app menu (or the verse command) and activate with your license key.
